Intergalactic Room 3 learning

This term we are learning about God's Indescribable Universe.

We have created a sun from all our hand prints. 

Learnt about the earth's rotation around the sun with torches.

Painted our own suns using cling wrap.

We even designed and painted our very own space rocket!

Mrs. Wells' birthday was last week so we took a trip

 to the moon with our glow in the dark "homing beacons."

We made astronauts to display our questions about space. 

We are crazy about Space!

We went outside and traced our shadows...

We noticed that our shadows seem to get smaller at lunchtime and then get bigger again in the later afternoon.

We think that our shadows change because the Earth we live on is turning on it's axis.
